Build trust through useful participation
Share practical experience, ask honest questions, and treat other members with professional respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, spam, and deceptive promotion are prohibited.
Protect private information
Never post Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit reports, bank statements, applications, passwords, private client records, or another person's confidential information. Use the secure NYS Capital portal for authorized funding documents.
Keep financial claims responsible
Do not promise approvals, guaranteed funding, guaranteed credit improvement, investment returns, or other outcomes that cannot be substantiated. Clearly identify personal experience, sponsorships, and compensated relationships.
Moderation
Members can report content and block accounts. We may restrict, hide, preserve, or remove content and suspend accounts to protect members, comply with law, or enforce these guidelines. Appeals may be submitted through support.
